The Great Terrace is the most significant building in Palić, built in the Art Nouveau style. The building was built back in 1912 by the famous Hungarian architects Marcel Komor and Deža Jakab. As the largest building built in the then new artistic direction, the Great Terrace is adorned with two large terraces curved in a gentle arch, which are made of wood and decorated with folklore motifs. With its attractiveness, it still captivates the area of the Great Park and, together with other buildings in Palić, gives it a recognizable and special charm.
After exactly one century, the Great Terrace has become the most important congress center in the area. It has three congress halls, the Great Hall – 360, the Meeting Hall – 50 and the VIP Hall – 20, intended for holding congresses, conferences, meetings, as well as various exhibitions, events and performances.
